1. What is JobTrackker?

JobTrackker is an AI-powered job application tracker that connects to your Gmail account to automatically detect and track job applications. It uses artificial intelligence to score job matches, generate cover letters, and help you prepare for interviews. JobTrackker is operated by an individual developer and is not affiliated with any registered company.

2. Information We Collect

•Google Account Information — Your name, email address, and profile photo when you sign in with Google.
•Gmail Data — We access your Gmail inbox to scan for job-related emails. We read email subjects, sender addresses, and email bodies only to detect job applications. We do not store raw email content.
•Resume Content — Text extracted from resumes you upload. This is stored securely and used only to power AI features.
•Job Application Data — Company names, roles, stages, notes, and URLs you add or that are auto-detected from Gmail.
•Usage Data — Basic analytics about how you use the application (feature usage counts) for product improvement.

3. How We Use Your Information

4. Gmail Access — Google API Services

JobTrackker requests read-only access to your Gmail inbox (gmail.readonly scope). We use this access solely to detect job-related emails and extract application metadata (company name, role, status). We do not read, store, or process emails unrelated to job applications. We do not send emails on your behalf. We do not use Gmail data to serve advertisements. Gmail data is never used to train AI or machine learning models. You can revoke Gmail access at any time from your Google Account settings at myaccount.google.com — your tracked jobs and resume will remain in JobTrackker. JobTrackker's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Data Storage

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on AWS in the Mumbai region (ap-south-1). Resume content and job data are encrypted at rest. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. AI Processing

AI features are powered by Anthropic's Claude API. When you use features like Match Score, Cover Letter, or Interview Prep, relevant portions of your resume and job details are sent to Anthropic's API for processing. We send only the minimum data necessary for each feature. Anthropic does not use data submitted via the API to train their models. We do not share Gmail data with Anthropic — only resume content and job metadata you have explicitly added to JobTrackker.

7. Third-Party Services

JobTrackker uses the following third-party services to operate. Data shared with each is limited to what is strictly necessary:

•Google OAuth — Authentication. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
•Supabase — Database and backend infrastructure. Data hosted on AWS Mumbai.
•Anthropic Claude API — AI feature processing (resume/job metadata only, not Gmail data). Data not used for model training.
•Brevo — Transactional email (job digest emails). Your email address only.
•Razorpay — Payment processing for Pro subscriptions. Payment details handled entirely by Razorpay; JobTrackker does not store card or UPI details.

8. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete individual resumes, jobs, or your entire account at any time. Upon account deletion, all your data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

10. Cookies
